I have been a hotel owner my whole life. What everyone seems to complaining about are symptoms of a very bad business model practiced by Expedia. The real problem is how they make money. We in the industry call them OTA (Online Travel Agencies). For the most part, they all practice most of these crooked ways of making a buck. Its not the people inside. Its the company's business model, its based on some very old ideas. There is a paper on our site that describes the problem much better. Our model is the counter to the whole industry but most hotel owners don't understand technology so its an uphill battle to get our word out. Please help us spread the word about Rezzline and our mission to solve this. As a hotel owner, i love my guests and Expedia is really nobody's friend.

I have just encountered a similar problem. I made a reservation for internatinal travel on expedia and am at my destination. However, I know have to depart earlier than expected. I've contacted the airline and have been told that they can see my reservation but for whatever reason expedia has it locked and they cannot change it. I've contact expedia on several occassions and finally asked for a supervisor ( Robin Pamomo) who told me in no uncertain terms that she could do nothing about this. She also told me that I could contact the Expedia home office in Tacoma between 8 am - 4:30 pm but did not offer the phone number and told me that they would not be able to help me either. My ticket has no restrictions about changes. So here I am in Sweden trying to get home earlier than anticipated with no no to help me. This supervisor suggested I drive 4 hours to Stockholm to go to the ticket counter to see if they could change my flight?????????????? I asked her to take my callback info so she could call their Tacoma office and find out what the heck is the problem but was told that she couldn't do that. And to top it all off, I spend 15 of the 40 minutes I was on the phone on hold at a dollar a minute. Just another disillusioned Ex - Expedia customer
