A Delta and Paco Update

So many of you read my post from the other day about Delta airlines, and I am still very disappointed.

I let many little things slide, but again those little things led me to book another airline for our San Francisco trip. I hadn’t totally given up on the product, I was just willing to pay a little more to be treated better. Now I cannot bring myself to trust them.

Not only have they been insulting to Paco’s owner, they have shown they have little to no respect for their customers. When you lose a customer’s dog, why would you think vouchers are adequate compensation.

Don’t even get me started on the person they have running their Twitter account. He/She ignored the topic for days, has yet to actually answer a real question, and insisted I DM them if I had questions. Okay, well since they weren’t following me, I was unable to. Seriously? Anyone who knows Twitter knows that is the rule. Even after I told this person I could not because I wasn’t following, and may I add they are following less than 500 people (how could they not know they weren’t following me) it took yet another message to get them to follow me. They claim they thought they were already doing so. I get that they are probably just trying to run interference but this is ridiculous.

Here is the deal: I just want them to tell us what really happened. Their story is shady at best. They have already insulted Paco’s owner with their voucher offers. At least let the poor guy know the truth.

1) If the dog escaped before his initial flight, then why did you lie to to him and say the dog was fine How did he escape?

2) If the dog escaped after his booked flight:
a) why wasn’t he put on the flight
b) how did he escape
c) why did the owner have to call you to find out what happened
3) How do you lose a dog in the airport

4) Where is the carrier?

If they lost one of my birds, you bet I would be demanding answers right now. I just don’t get why they can’t just tell the truth. Really that is all most of us once. Yes, I really hope Paco is okay and for that ideal reunion with the couple that saved him in Mexico. However, I know that will probably never happen. They claim to have looked for him, but I just don’t buy it anymore. Until they come clean, I will not be satisfied. Maybe they never will, and in that case I will never fly them again.

    I also wrote to Delta and got the same response you did. No answers just apologies. They have to know what happened or at least have an idea. This is disgusting. We want answers Delta!
